The Mahindra XUV900 will share its engine options with the XUV700. The XUV700 comes with two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 200PS of power and 380Nm of torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 185PS of power and 420Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The XUV700 also offers an all-wheel-drive option for both engines. The XUV900 will likely offer the same engine and transmission options as the XUV700, but it may also get some performance tweaks to make it more agile and sporty. Mahindra has also announced that it will offer an all-electric version of the XUV900 in the future.

Expected Launch Date and Price in India

The Mahindra XUV900 is expected to launch in India by 2024. The exact launch date and price are not yet revealed, but we expect the XUV900 to be priced higher than the XUV700, which starts from Rs 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The XUV900 could be priced in the range of Rs 20-25 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and features. The electric version of the XUV900 could be priced higher than the petrol and diesel versions.

The Mahindra XUV900 will be a unique offering in the Indian market, as it will be the first SUV-coupe from a homegrown brand. The XUV900 will appeal to those who want a stylish and sporty SUV with good performance and features. The XUV900 will also be future-ready with an electric option that will cater to the eco-conscious buyers. The Mahindra XUV900 will be an exciting addition to Mahindra’s portfolio of unmissable SUVs.
